My name is Tyeshia, and I am passionate about sharing positivity with those that are in their growing season (which is every season), like myself. 🌱 As I experience life daily, I draw inspiration from difficult situations as well as the blessings I receive, and express my thoughts in writing. My prayer is that you find comfort in my words tell you that your best is yet to come! 🙏🏽
I am a young woman from New York City that has used my artistic skills to express myself for as long as I could remember. From singing, dancing, and acting at church since I was a little girl, to playing the trumpet in elementary school and exploring different styles of art media (primarily drawing), creativity has always been an integral part of my life. 🎨
All that being said, I also have found writing ✍🏽 as a primary interest of my artistry. I even wrote for my school’s newspaper (life really has a way of showing you what you love). ❤️ I found that as I would write, I could bring my words to life when I actually injected passion into what my topic was about. I realized how much I loved writing when I started to go through life’s daily tests and used it to help me process my feelings and heal through it. As an individual that tends to grow through my pain on my own, this was one way I would find the solutions to the dilemmas I would face. I also enjoyed reading old think-pieces, quotes and empowering messages I wrote in my journal to give my spirit a boost when needed.
One day, I shared my journal with my friend Sabrina while in college and she told me that people needed to have access to this and I always kept that with me. I wanted to find a way to share the wisdom that God gives me, not only with those around me, but the entire world. 🌍
That lead to the birth of Trust the Transformation. 2020 put many things into perspective for me and I discovered that creating this platform was a vital part of my purpose.
Having the ability to make an impact on people’s lives is something I strive to do. I understand that people carry the burden of whatever silent struggle they may be facing, because I face them too. Writing is one of my outlets, and if I could share what uplifts me to at least touch one person, it is worth it.
